About Us

The Pennsylvania State Data Center serves as Pennsylvania's official source of population and economic statistics. In addition to acting as Pennsylvania's liaison to the Census Bureau, the PaSDC is the state's representative to the Federal-State Cooperative Programs for Population Estimates and for Population Projections.

 

Each year, the PaSDC serves businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies, and individuals, answering more than 15,000 requests for information.

 

PaSDC is part of the Institute for State and Regional Affairs, a unit of Penn State Harrisburg.

The 2010 Pennsylvania State Data Center Data User Conference theme is Where Do We Go From Here? 2010 and Beyond.



The 2010 Data User Conference will be held on September 15, 2010.

This year's conference will focus on the opportunities and challenges facing data users during a new decade of data. Experts from around the Commonwealth and beyond will share their expertise in using new data resources, and share their perspectives on the future.   

Plus, many great sessions on using demographic and other data sources, as well as updates on release plans for 2010 Decennial Census data.
